I am a life-long Detroit-area resident who grew up in Real Estate. My grandfather started a real estate company in 1925 by subdividing his family farm in Livonia. My father followed in his footsteps, and I have followed in his. I attended Albion College and Detroit College of Law, but then immediately started my real estate career in 1985. Real estate is constantly changing, and there are certainly challenges, but the one thing that remains constant is the need for service. I pride myself on being a Realtor, with the knowledge and the skills to succeed in today's real estate environment. But, my greatest real estate asset is being able to provide great customer service, and that is something I learned from my father and my grandfather. I am honored to provide excellent service to my clients, and I believe they deserve nothing less.

Cosmetic Improvements >Lighting Up the Sale
Lighting is an important factor to take into account when you are selling your home. Natural and artificial lighting can create a mood that buyers notice when they walk into your home, so don't overlook this significant factor which can favorably influence a potential buyer.
Before your house is shown, walk through each room with an eye to creating a pleasant ambiance through lighting. Accentuate the natural light by keeping curtains open and windows sparkling clean. Arrange your furniture to take advantage of the best view. You may want to install indirect lighting to highlight a vaulted ceiling or to draw attention to indoor plants. Dimmer switches can create simple and inexpensive lighting appeal. Place a lamp and table arrangement in a dark alcove or corner to brighten up the area.
